BOWLING LEAGUE RECORD SYSTEM.

BLRS is a set of utilities designed to facilitate accurate record keeping of all team and individual bowling scores following the guidelines of the American Bowling Congress (ABC) and the Women's International Bowling Congress (WIBC). The system provides the following features:

O Female, male, and mixed leagues bowling, either scratch or handicap scoring. are supported.

O Weekly scoring input is keyed off the league bowling schedule and team lineup.

O Automatic archiving and update of team and individual records.

O Separate handicap base, percentage, and maximum handicap for female and male members.

O Team and individual high series over high game score is supported.

O Season-to-date league standing report containing team and individual statistics.

O Team and individual detail archive reports.

O Edit/update capability of team and bowler records, initialization of data, and league schedule.

O Alphabetically sorted league member listing containing season-to-date statistics.

O Summary report of team and individual season-to- date statistics for the entire league.

O Weekly recap sheets are keyed off the league schedule and team lineup.

O Maximums are: 6 bowlers per team; 40 teams per league; 40 weeks (full or split) schedule.

Team and individual statistics included on the Weekly League Standing Sheet is one of the system's strongest features:

O Team standing is sorted by win/loss points and shows games bowled, scratch and handicap pinfall, team average, high series, and game scores.

O Bowler listing by team lineup showing last series bowled, average, handicap, games bowled, total pinfall, high series and game, number of 200 and 600 series bowled.

O Substitutes are listed separately and shows game statistics as regular league bowlers.

O Team and bowler HONOR ROLL scores showing high series and game scores (scratch and handicap)-female and male scores are separated.

O Most improved bowler list (over 21 games)-female and male bowler list is separated.

O Special weekly HIGH-LITES list containing name, game, and series for bowlers rolling above-average scores.

O The next four weeks of the league schedule by date, lane, and team assignment.

O League officer's message area.

BLRS is easy to use and contains many features and prompts designed to work in concert with the user. The system is menu-driven and contains prompts for option selection and/or input response.
