ADVANCED MATH GRAPHICS
(MSDOS CD-ROM)
ADVANCED MATH GRAPHICS (AMG) is a menu-driven collection of seven programs which graphically demonstrate many of the functions and concepts encountered in advanced high-school and beginning college mathematics. The subject areas covered are: O Polynomial functions O Rational polynomials O Trigonometric functions O Polar plotting O Conic sections (2D) O Conic sections (3D) O Fourier series For each of the seven choices there is a variety of functions which can be plotted, and you can choose the coefficients which go with each functional form. Also, you may vary the screen parameters: size of each axis; tic distance; X, Y increments; multiple functions (on top of one another); etc. The three-dimensional conic section plots are particularly interesting to view, and the Fourier series approximations to square waves (and other functions) are very informative. Every step in AMG is menu-controlled and error trapped. Each graph can be saved on disk for later recall. Includes an excellent 32-page instruction manual on disk. Price: $39.95
