AI LOGO is an easy-to-use, powerful, and interactive educational programming language. It is compatible with Apple Logo, thereby allowing use of the wealth of books and procedures already available for Apple Logo.

AI LOGO procedures (programs) are created by combining previously defined commands and procedures. Using this "building block" approach, there is virtually no limit to the complexity of these procedures. Also, the procedures can communicate among themselves via inputs and outputs. Along with basic logical operations, including the IF structure, multiple loops and the ability to perform recursive operations, you can calculate the fundamental mathematical operations, including trigonometric calculations.

AI LOGO is interactive, which means that you can execute any command, whether built into the language or defined as a procedure, by simply typing the command at the keyboard. The editor makes it easy to define, execute, and modify procedures because there is no necessity to deal with separate compilers, loaders, monitors, and so forth.

As an educational tool, immediate success is very important. This is achieved by use ot graphics. AI LOGO uses a "turtle" to move and to leave a trace of its path. You can quickly and easily "build" drawings on the screen.
