TIME CLOCK II - Computerized Timeclock. MSDOS or Windows (your choice).
TIMECLOCK II is not only a complete replacement for a mechanical time clock, it is also a powerful time management tool. TIMECLOCK II turns virtually any PC into a time clock which can maintain detailed records of employee comings and goings. It can run as a TSR (Terminate and Stay Ready), thereby freeing up your computer for other activities, while still being instantly available to log an employee in or out. The employee may "punch in/out" by entering a code on the keyboard (standard version), or by using a bar code reader (optional). With the network version, log-in/out may be accomplished at any computer on the network.
TIMECLOCK II is smart. Not only can the log-in/out times be rounded as desired, but the time may be automatically compared against the employee's personal schedule, as well as prescribed breaks (e.g., lunch, dinner, rest periods, etc.). For example, log-in may be blocked or flagged for employees attempting unauthorized overtime. Also, paid and unpaid breaks maybe monitored and record- ed. Further, the administrator can check who is in at a glance.
If all TIMECLOCK II did was the above, it would be well worth the price. However, TIMECLOCK II is also a time manager. For example, not only can recorded time be allocated to normal work, overtime, vacation, and sick leave, but also to defined departments (and even jobs). It tracks and reports activity in all of those categories, and will even monitor allowed vs. actual totals. For example, has the total overtime (sick leave, vacation, etc.) been reached?
TIMECLOCK II also maintains basic employee information, such as hiring date, position, assigned department, employee password and payroll number, address and phone number, emergency contact name and phone number, birthday, social security number, sex, and marital status.
The reporting features are aimed at providing management with the tools needed to easily and effectively view the status of the operation in both summary and detailed form. The reports include:
Company personnel information:
o Employee time report for pay period (daily, weekly, two week, bi-monthly, monthly), log-in/out detail or total report.
o Departmental and company total hours report
o Employee schedule (daily and total) report
o Department and company schedule time report
o Department descriptions and employment totals report
o Jobs or projects open/closed report
o Job description list
o Regular/overtime/early-late/non-regular hours report
o Job hourly times reported by employee (for accounting) and department (for management review).
o Department pay rules (maximum sick leave and overtime, vacation hours, requirements for same)
TIMECLOCK II abounds with security measures. There are two password levels, data encryption, and the ability to disable the MSDOS TIME and DATE commands.
