Students explore living things and how the cell is the fundamental building block of all living organisms. Emphasis is placed on the characteristics and processes of living organisms. Scientists Anton van Leeuwenhoek with his "Wee Beasties" and Robert Hooke with his plants share their discoveries of microscopic life.
