Brush up on your math skills by combing your way through a multitude of mathematical brain twisters. Every room in the Action Fraction Fun House offers logical puzzles, analytical activities and unconventional surprises. The "Batting Cage" enables students to calculate the averages of home runs after choosing a bat size and hitting the animated ball. "Random Raceway" tests addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division skills with fractions and decimals as users race around a track. Colorful, animated cars and trains make this section entertaining, as well as educational. Users compare fractions, decimals, and percents in the Shooting Gallery, as they squirt floating ducks, surfing pigs, and others with wacky water guns. In the "Hall of Mirrors," students must solve ratio and proportion problems involving distorted objects. The Action Fraction Fun House offers both a beginning and an intermediate challenge level. Plus, students can test their skills against the timekeeper with eight bonus puzzles. Fractions, decimals, and percents were never half as much fun as they are at the Action Fraction Fun House. Students will find lots of fun learning activities with unconventional problems and superb graphics which simulate distorted "fun house" images. Two levels of play make Action Fraction Fun House appropriate for beginning and intermediate users.
