This educational adventure takes you to new worlds, new civilizations. Experience the 17th century from an explorer's point of view. Receive your commission (leaky ship, rotting food, motley crew), then your mission-to satisfy your queen's need for expensive items which can't be found nearby. This fact-filled simulation has two levels. "Novice" players join a mission which will introduce the continents, the people who live there, and the essence of bartering for goods with international traders. The "Advanced" level integrates map-reading skills, latitude and longitude, with a mission which focuses on countries and island groups. Both levels feature over 25 foreign languages (hear traders actually speak the dialect of the area you meet them in) and hundreds of images related to physical geography, plants, and animals.
